Panthers Roll Past Adena; Remain Unbeaten

CHESAPEAKE — Move along. Nothing to see here. Just another Chesapeake win.
Chesapeake made quick work of the Adena Warriors with a 65-33 romp on Friday as the Panthers remained unbeaten.
Chesapeake (7-0) raced to a 22-5 first quarter lead as Maddox Kazee and Kaden Perkins combined for 17 points.
Kazee hit a 3-pointer and scored 9 points while Perkins hit a triple and had 8 points.
The Panthers extended the lead to 32-12 at the half as Kazee had 4 points as 4 different players scored for Chesapeake.
Joey Francis had 5 points including a 3-pointer for Adena (0-9).
Chesapeake blew the game wide-open in the third quarter by going ahead 51-22.
Philip Thacker had the hot hand with a pair of 3-pointers as he scored 10 points, Perkins also had a trifecta and scored 5 points.
Colton Christian hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored all 10 of Adena’s points in the quarter.
Six different players scored in the fourth quarter as Chesapeake outscored Adena 14-11.
Chesapeake had 3 players in double figures as Thacker and Kazee had 15 points each and Perkins scored 13.
Garrison had 12 points and Francis 10 to pace the Warriors.
The Panthers host Fairview, Ky., on Monday.
