Callicoat, Graham, Highlight Dragon Wrestlers In Recent Tournaments

GALLIPOLIS — Call it new math. The Fairland Dragons used 4 to get 10 out of 25.
Translation: The Dragons took 4 wrestlers to the Skyline Trophies & Tees held at Gallia Academy High School and placed 10th among the 25-team field on Dec. 28.
The Dragons had 2 champions as senior Will Callicoat was 6-0 in the 195-pound division and senior C.J. Graham remained unbeaten as he went 6-0 to win the 126 bracket and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Wrestler.
Also placing were freshman Zack Burdine Jr. who was 3-3 and placed eighth while freshman Levi Mitchell was 3-1 and took third place.
At the Pat Vance 54th Annual Invitational this past weekend, Mitchel was 2-1 and was the runner-up, Burdine Jr. also went 2-1 and was the runner-up.
Both Callicoat and Graham went 3-0 and were their weight class champions.
Graham won another tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler award.
