2025-26 Girls All-Roundball Team

The league tiles have been settled, the state champions crowned, and the individual postseason awards are being announced.
Having spent the past five months closely following 10 area teams on both sides of the Ohio River, Tri-State Sports Page has studied the teams and the players throughout the season and now it’s time to announce the TSSP All-Roundball teams.
While there were some good teams and even a few great teams, the all-star selections are about individual success within the team concept.
The selections allow for only a maximum of two players from one team since this is about individuals. However, there is one wild card selection courtesy of Bella — our company mascot and occasionally game pawgnosticator — but that individual must meet the high standards of all the selections.
Here are the 2025-26 season postseason individual award winners:
Jenna Anson | Coal Grove | Forward | Junior
Anson earns the distinction of being our lone forward selection on this list. The junior was a key piece to the Lady Hornets success with her presence underneath. Anson proved that this winter when she set the school's single-game record for rebounds and surpassed 500 career rebounds this season. Anson also collected 1st team Southeast Ohio Division 6 all-district honors.
Kennedy Darnell | Russell | Point Guard | Senior
Darnell was a key contributor all season for the Lady Devils and found different ways to lead, as she led the team in both scoring and rebounding this winter. For her career, Darnell piled up 1,555 points during her time wearing the maroon and gold. Darnell was a key piece to helping the Lady Devils win their 10th-straight district title and finish as runners-up in the 16th Region tournament. The senior was also selected as the MVP of the 16th Regional Tournament and named the Eastern Kentucky Conference's Player of the Year.
Addison Godby | Fairland | Point Guard | Senior
Godby was a key fixture of this season's Final Four run for the Lady Dragons with her versatility on the floor. The Stetson University commit also reached the 1,000 point mark this season. Godby also etched her name into the record books as the school's single-season steals leader. Godby was also tabbed as a 1st team Southeast Ohio Division 5 All-District selection and second team Division 5 All-Ohio. Godby was also picked as the OHSBCA District 13 Division 5 co-player of the year along with teammate Bailey Russell.
Abbie Issacs | Chesapeake | Point Guard | Senior
Issacs contributed in all facets of the game to help the Lady Panthers to another winning season and advance to the district semifinals. She's another member of the 1,000 point scoring club and earned 1st team Southeast Ohio Division 5 All-District and was named 2nd team Division 5 All-Ohio.
Abbie Knapp | Green | Point Guard | Junior (Bella's pick)
As the cornerstone of the Lady Cats this season, Knapp eclipsed the1,000 point scoring milestone and helped lead her team to consecutive SOC and District titles. The Marshall University commit was also tabbed the Southeast Ohio Division 7 player of the year and was named a 1st teamer on the Division 7 All-Ohio team.
Gabby Oborne | Russell | Point Guard | Senior
Oborne was another crucial piece to the Lady Devils success on the hardwood. Whether it was ball-handling, scoring or helping apply pressure in the back court, Gabby was there to help create plays all season. The senior guard also hit the 1,000 point milestone early in the season as she helped Russell finish district champions for the 10th year in a row and runners-up in the 16th Region. Oborne also was chosen to the All-Tournament Team in the 16th Region.
Bailey Russell | Fairland | Point Guard | Senior
Russell was one of the main catalyst of the Lady Dragons' Final Four teams this winter. The senior standout also became Fairland's all-time leading scorer 1,574 points. Russell was also picked as the OHSBCA District 13 Division 5 co-player of the year along with teammate Addison Godby. Not only Russell have perform at a high level on the hardwood, but she also excelled in the classroom, earning OHSBCA All-Ohio Academic Team honors.
Brenna Tibbs | Symmes Valley | Shooting Guard | Senior
The senior guard was a key fixture to Symmes Valley's success, whether it was handling the ball, scoring or playing defense from the low block. Tibbs is committed to Ohio University in softball. She was selected to the Southeast Ohio Division 6 All-District 2nd team and earned an honorable mention selection for the Ohio Division 7 All-Ohio team.
