SOUTH POINT — As Ringo Starr once famously sang in the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album, “I get by with a little help from my friends.”

The game started slow with each team getting 3 points in the first quarter. K.J. Collins hit a 3-pointer for Chesapeake while Samiya Bradburn had a basket and Amaya Ellis a free throw for the South Point offense.
