Pioneers Beat Dragons to Remain Undefeated

CHILLICOTHE — The Zane Trace Pioneers parlayed 9 hits and 4 Fairland errors to beat the Dragons 8-2 on Saturday.

Zane Trace (7-0) used the complete game pitching of Pierce Manson to remain unbeaten. Manson gave up 8hits, 2 unearned runs, struck out 7 and walked one.

Coen Larson was 3-4 with an RBI, Gunnar McCullough 3-3 with 2 RBI and Landen Jarrell 2-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI for the Pioneers.

Fairland (3-6) had 8hits but couldn’t bunch them together. Garrett Cornwell was 3-3 and Elias Blankenship 2-3 with a double to pace the offense.
