Hat tricks for Lyons, Weber help Flyers rout Redmen

PEDRO — The St. Joseph Flyers’ may have a twitch in their legs for a while.
St. Joseph (6-2-1) had one of the most lopsided shots statistics as they took 63 shots including 38 on goal.
Goalkeeper Jaxson Bridenthal had 29 saves for the Redmen (1-8-1) who did not attempt a shot.
Mason Weber racked up a hat trick as his 3 goals paced the Flyers. Carson Lyons also had 3 goals while Barrett Waginger scored 2 goals each and Gus Listerman had a goal.
Sophia Rowe, Waginger and Lyons had 2 assists each. Blake Medinger, Brayden Neal and Texas Jack Whaley each had an assist.
The Flyers visit Western Thursday in a Southern Ohio Conference game and host Lucasville Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday in a battle for first place.
