OMAHA, NEB. — The Tennessee Volunteers are now just one win away from punching their ticket to the 2024 Men's College World Series' championship series.
The Volunteers can clinch a spot in the series with a win over Florida State on Wednesday afternoon. It will be a rematch of their opening round game on Friday, where Tennessee won in walk-off fashion over the Seminoles with a 12-11 win.
Florida State is now forced to beat Tennessee twice in order to advance to the championship series on Saturday.
Florida and Kentucky start things off at 11 A.M. at Charles Schwab Field. The SEC showdown was to be played Tuesday night, but the game was postponed to Wednesday due to impending weather.
