The Dawgs won the Dog Fight

It was a classic SEC match up.

Georgia's defense was up to the task stopping one of the most prolific offenses in the nation this season and the offense made plays when they needed too.

The Bulldogs appear to have one more hurdle left on their march to defending their title. The SEC title game against LSU.

Ohio State looked very vulnerable

After a shaky performance last week against Penn State, the Buckeyes didn't look very effective offensively against Northwestern.

Granted, the Wildcats have always played Ohio State tough at Ryan Field and the conditions were poor, but the Buckeyes didn't necessarily overmatch a Northwestern team that's dropped 8 straight games.

That Michigan game is looming ever so closer and the Buckeyes need to be firing on all cylinders for it.

Bama's playoff bubble has busted

With Brian Kelly seemingly using up all his luck on that two-point conversion play, the Crimson Tide might be pretty much done competing for the national title.

Despite losing two games by a total of four points, the Tide still didn't win. So the odds of a two-loss SEC team making the playoffs is unlikely and even less likely since it appears they will not be making the SEC Title game.
