ASHLAND — An all-around effort at the plate and on the mound from Jon Knapp helped the Green Bobcats post a 6-2 win over the Fairview Eagles on Friday night at Ashland Central Park.
The Bobcats got mulit-hit games from Jon Knapp, who doubled twice and drove in two runs, and Kase McIntyre went 2-2 including double and an RBI.

Landon Kimbler also recorded a hit and had two RBIs. Blake Smith and Mason Neal also singled in the win.
Knapp got the start as well and earned the win for the Bobcats (13-4), allowing just four hits and two earned runs over five innings of work. Knapp also fanned seven batters and gave up just three walks.
Fairview (9-10) broke the scoreless tie in the second on an RBI single from Eli Cummings.
The lead wouldn't last long, as the Bobcats rattled off three runs in the top of the third and never looked back. Kimbler drove home two runs with a base hit, and Knapp doubled to score the other run in the frame.
Green was able to get three more insurance runs in the fifth to build up a 6-1 lead.
The Eagles got one of those runs back in the bottom of the inning to cut the deficit to four.
The game was called in the sixth due to darkness.
