Renison, Satterfield's combined 4-hitter keeps Bobcats undefeated

FRANKLIN FURNACE — Maybe Brennan Renison and Uriah Satterfield are thinking of forming a WWE tag team,

The two pitchers tag teamed a four-hitter as the Green Bobcats blanked the Eastern Eagles 10-0 in a six inning run rule win on Tuesday.

Renison went four innings for the win as he gave up only one hit, struck out seven and walked two. Satterfield gave up three hits and walked one batter.

Green (3-0) smacked 11 hits with Jon Knapp going 2-4 with two doubles and two runs batted in, Gabe Blevins and Satterfield each went 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Riddick Jenkins 2-3 with a double and an RBI, Renison 1-2 with an RBI, Carson Johnson 1-1 and Connor Blanton 1-4 with a double and an RBI.

Bradyn Riley was 1-1, Cade Leist 1-2, and both Christian Smith and Eric Manley were 1-3 for Eastern (0-3).

Green took a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

Jenkins reached on an error and Knapp had an RBI double. Satterfield doubled home Knapp and Renison had an RBI single.

The lead went to 6-0 in the second inning with a two-out rally.

Jenkins, Blevins and Knapp all doubled for two runs and Satterfield had an RBI single.

Green got two runs in the third to lead 8-0.

Connor Blanton reached on an error and Jenkins singled him home. Jenkins stole second and Knapp had an RBI single.

The final two runs scored in the sixth to end the game.

Knapp was safe on an error leading off. Satterfield hit into a force play, Renison walked and Connor Blanton doubled home a run and the final run scored when Kade McIntyre reached on an error.
