Multi-RBI games from 4 different batters helps Lady Devils beat Lady Dragons

PROCTORVILLE — For the Russell Lady Red Devils this season it’s been double digits when it comes to offense.

Russell (3-1) has scored 18, 14 and 17 runs this season which includes a 17-4 win over the Fairland Lady Dragons on Tuesday.

The other double digit run total went against the Lady Red Devils who lost 16-3 on Monday to South Point.

Karson Hale got the pitching win as she gave up 7 hits and 4 earned runs while striking out 4 and walking 2. She also went 3-4 with a home run and 3 runs batted in as Russell got 14 hits.

Ava Howard was 4-4 with a pair of doubled and 3 RBI, Ava Frasure 3-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Ava Kiser 1-4 with a double and 3 RBI, Allison Highfield 1-4 with an RBI, Hadley Cook 2-3 with a double and an RBI, Bella Hall 1-4, and Madilynn Hayes had an RBI.

Fairland (1-1) was led by Aubree Cyrus and Raelynn Barker who were 1-3 with 2 RBI. Aubrey Hayes ws 1-2 with a triple, Maddie Cornwell and Maddie Schneider were 1-3, and Ava Thacker and Yardley Gorby each went 1-2.

On Thursday, Fairland faces Wayne, W.Va., while Russell visits Greenup County, Ky.
