The league tiles have been settled, the state champions crowned, and the individual postseason awards are being announced.

Having spent the past five months closely following 11 area teams on both sides of the Ohio River, Tri-State Sports Page has studied the teams and the players throughout the season and now it’s time to announce the TSSP All-Roundball teams.

While there were some good teams and even a few great teams, the all-star selections are about individual success within the team concept.

The selections allow for only a maximum of two players from one team since this is about individuals. However, there is one wild card selection courtesy of Bella — our company mascot and occasionally game pawgnosticator — but that individual must meet the high standards of all the selections.

Here are the 2025-26 season postseason individual award winners:

Ryder Burgess | Russell | Point Guard | Sophomore

Burgess was a key part of the Red Devils success this season, as he led team in scoring. Ryder's success helped Russell win it's first district championship in 4 years and finish as semifinalist in the 16th Region tournament. Burgess was also selected to the 16th Region tournament team and named 1st team on the All-Eastern Kentucky Conference team.

Bronx Carpenter | Symmes Valley | Point Guard | Sophomore

The sophomore standout was the Vikings' top scorer this season and made contributions in all phases of the game. Carpenter was also a special mention All-Ohio for Division 6 and first team Southeast Ohio Division 6 all-district selection.

Tyler Cordial | Russell | Center | Senior

Even though Tyler comes in as our lone center for either the boys and girls teams, he rightfully earned his spot. The senior was a key force in the paint all season as he was second in scoring and pulled down nearly 8 rebounds a night Cordial's presence helped Russell to a district championship and a semifinal finish in the 16th Region Tournament. He was also selected to the 16th Region team and named to the All-Eastern Kentucky Conference first team.

Cliff Fransen | Fairland | Point Guard | Senior

Fransen proved to be a key figure to the Dragons success this season, leading the team in scoring and helping to give his team a berth into the district semifinals.
