1st Quarter Romp Helps Lady Bobcats Dispose of Western

LATHAM — The Green Lady Bobcats ended this one before it barely got started.

Green took a 20-0 first quarter lead and went on to beat the Western Lady Indians 47-10 on Monday.

Abbie Knapp scored 29 points and Matti Hayslip got 10 more as Green went to 2-0 on the season.

Knapp scored 12 points in the first quarter, Hayslip added 4 and Addison Blizzard hit a 3-pointer to make it 20-0.

Knapp scored 8 points while Hayslip and Mylee Brown had a basket as the lead went to 32-3 at the half.

Green led 45-5 after three quarters as Knapp got 7 points, Haslip 4 and Ava Abrams 2.
