PSU-OSU showdown turned into Big Noon Letdown & a Little League Reunion
Another noon kickoff. Ugh. Fox is killing us all in more ways than one. Jim Knowles and his Penn State defense ride into Ohio Stadium this Saturday for a game that was highly anticipated just two months ago. But the Nittany Lions went on a losing spree, and not just on scoreboards. Head Coach James Franklin is gone. Starting Quarterback Drew Allar is out for the season. And that Knowles defense? It’s been out most of the season, too. The Buckeyes are a three-touchdown favorit

The Dragons (4-6, 3-3) ran the ball 48 times for 325 yards with Davin Murray carrying the mail 18 times for 119 yards and a touchdown to lead the ground game. Christian Bompus ran 16 ti

Murphy's big plays help Hornets sting Redmen, finish undefeated in OVC
PEDRO — Eight was enough. It had been 8 years since the last Ohio Valley Conference championship for the Coal Grove Hornets, but that changed this season as they completed an unbeaten league record in claiming their first football title since 2017. Coal Grove beat the Rock Hill Redmen 26-7 on Friday to finish the regular season 8-2 including 6-0 in the OVC. The Hornets offense was its usual ground-oriented attack but the defense shined by holding the Redmen to just 103 total

Defense, big plays spark Red Devils to back-to-back district titles
FLATWOODS — Defense has been a key contributor to Russell's success this season and the steady play of senior quarterback Jayden Frasure has been as well. Evans Stadium/Ivan McGlone Field. The win was a special one for the Red Devils, as they clinched back-to-back district titles for the first ti

Buckeyes jump around and all over Badgers
The only jumping around on the field at Camp Randall on Saturday was by the visiting team. Ohio State’s offense dominated through the air. It’s defense put another goose egg on the scoreboard. And some lesser-known players got a chance to show off their skills. The Buckeyes beat Wisconsin on the road 34-0. Buckeyes’ sophomore quarterback Julian Sayin, who deserves to be in Heisman conversations soon, completed 86% of his passes (36 for 42) for 394 yards and four touchdowns. T
