The week Buckeyes fans have been waiting for
Welcome to Connor Stalions' Week. Christmas in November. Santa Claus versus The Grinch. Hopefully, the Buckeyes get more than a lump of coal this year…even though last year’s coal was turned into diamonds. Last Saturday’s 42-9 thrashing of Rutgers despite being without star wideouts Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate, both of whom were held back for precautionary reasons, shows the talent Ohio State’s offense has across the board. Granted, the OSU offense looks vanilla without t

Buckeyes keep things rolling in win over UCLA
You can’t spell claustrophobia without UCLA. For most of Saturday’s game, the Buckeyes defense kept the Bruins offense crammed into small spaces, allowing only two first downs in the first half and a paltry 65 total yards until late in the third quarter. Ohio State scored the first 34 points enroute to a 48-10 pasting, securing their #1 ranking with two regular season games remaining. Jeremiah Smith played only three possessions but made one of his signature one-handed grabs

PSU-OSU showdown turned into Big Noon Letdown & a Little League Reunion
Another noon kickoff. Ugh. Fox is killing us all in more ways than one. Jim Knowles and his Penn State defense ride into Ohio Stadium this Saturday for a game that was highly anticipated just two months ago. But the Nittany Lions went on a losing spree, and not just on scoreboards. Head Coach James Franklin is gone. Starting Quarterback Drew Allar is out for the season. And that Knowles defense? It’s been out most of the season, too. The Buckeyes are a three-touchdown favorit

Buckeyes jump around and all over Badgers
The only jumping around on the field at Camp Randall on Saturday was by the visiting team. Ohio State’s offense dominated through the air. It’s defense put another goose egg on the scoreboard. And some lesser-known players got a chance to show off their skills. The Buckeyes beat Wisconsin on the road 34-0. Buckeyes’ sophomore quarterback Julian Sayin, who deserves to be in Heisman conversations soon, completed 86% of his passes (36 for 42) for 394 yards and four touchdowns. T

Bucks took foot off gas, still dominated in win over Illini
Life is officially surreal when even Paul Finebaum admits a Big Ten team is the best in the nation. The defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes, currently ranked #1 in the country, beat #17 Illinois 34-16 on Saturday and are 6-0. In the second quarter, with OSU up 20-0, the Illinois stadium speakers blared the song “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” Was that Illibuck channeling Captain and Tennille to say he’s tired of being in Columbus? Even though the Buckeyes looked a b
