IRONTON — It was a split with identical scores as the Fairland and Ironton soccer teams met on Saturday at Tanks Memorial Stadium. In the girls’ game, the Lady Dragons blanked Ironton 2-0 as they scored a goal in each half. Fairland’s Yardley Gorby scored at the 25:20 mark of the first half with an assist from Ava Runyon to make it 1-0. WELLSTON — The scoring came fast and never seemed to let up as the South Point Pointers piled up the offense and routed the Wellston Rockets 49-6 on Friday night at C.H. Jones Field. For the Pointers, their offense dominated the offensive stat sheet, as they out-gained the Rockets 498 to 91 in total yards and doubled Wellston in first downs at 16 to 8. Landon Vance finished the night with 174 yards on 18 carries and scored 4 rushing touchdowns in the win. The senior back also
